We have done Charlie Chaplin's speech which is The Great Dictator .

Soldiers - don't give yourselves to brutes, men who despise you and enslave you - who regiment your lives, tell you what to do, what to think and what to feel, who drill you, diet you, treat you as cattle, use you as cannon fodder.Don't give yourselves to these unnatural men! Machine men, with machine minds and machine hearts. You are not machines! You are not cattle! You are men! You have the love of humanity in your hearts. You don't hate - only the unloved hate. Only the unloved and the unnatural. Soldiers - don't fight for slavery, fight for liberty!

In the seventeenth chapter of Saint Luke it is written " the kingdom of God is within man " - not one man, nor a group of men - but in all men - in you!

You the people have the power, the power to create machines, the power to create happiness. You the people have the power to make life free and beautiful, to make this life a wonderful adventure. Then in the name of democracy let's use that power - let us all unite. Let us fight for a new world, a decent world that will give men a chance to work, that will give you the future and old age and security. By the promise of these things, brutes have risen to power, but they lie. They do not fulfill their promise, they never will. Dictators free themselves but they enslave the people. Now let us fight to fulfill that promise. Let us fight to free the world, to do away with national barriers, to do away with greed, with hate and intolerance. Let us fight for a world of reason! A world where science and progress will lead to all men's happiness.

Soldiers - in the name of democracy, let us all unite!

The process of the work is according to the steps below .

STEP 1

Create new layer > Text Tool > Type "Soldier" > Create Motion Tween > Click on new keyframe > Move it up

Step 2

Import Soldier picture > Place it next to soldiers > Minimize it to have the  zoom out effect

Step 3

Create new layer > Text Tool > Type "Don't" > Create Motion Tween > Click on new keyframe > Enlarge it > Click on new keyframe > Minimize it

Step 4

Create new layer > Text Tool > Type "Give" > Create Motion Tween > Click on new keyframe > Move it up

Step 5

Create new layer > Text Tool > Type "yourself" > Create Motion Tween > Click on new keyframe > Move it to the left

Step 6

Create new layer > Text Tool > Type "to" > Create Motion Tween > Click on new keyframe > Move it up

Step 7

Create new layer > Text Tool > Type "BRUTES" > Create Motion Tween > Click on new keyframe > Enlarge it

Step 8

End the Soldier layer > Select all of the objects > Rotate it to the left > Move it to the left to make space

Step 9

Create new layer for each of the words shown below > Create motion tween for each of them > Move it as so

Step 10

Enlarge all the object on canvas to make a zooming effect > add regiment your lives at the side > Move all object to the side

Step 11

Add word TELL , YOU , WHAT , TO , DO > Arrange it as so > and  replace word "DO" with feel and think according to the speech .

Step 12

Add word "Who" and place it as so > Add the letter D > Move it to the side

like so > Add word rill and place it beside D to make the word Drill > add word "you" and place it beside drill > enlarge it >add word "iet" > move it up

Step 13

Rotate the whole thing > add word TREAT , YOU , LIKE , CATTLE > place it as so 

Step 14

Rotate the whole canvas again .

Add word USE , YOU , AS , CANNON , FODDER > Place it like so > Import cannon vector > place it beside word cannon

Step 15

Add the words DONT , GIVE , YOUR >place it like so

add word SELVES > enlarge it >click on new keyframe > minimize it

add word TO , THESE and UNNATURAL > select whole canvas and rotate it

Step 16

add word MEN under UNNATURAL

import screw vector > place it at the side >add word machine and men

move the word MACHINE down > add WITH on top of  MACHINE and MINDS at the bottom>enlarge MINDS >import brain vector and place it beside minds

same process as above but only change the word to hearts and import heart vector

Step 17

Move the word MACHINE down > Add word YOU , ARE and NOT on top of the word MACHINE

Step 18

Add word YOU , ARE , MEN > place it as so

and DONE for my part !

ASSIGNMENT 1 (FINAL)

STEP 1

Create a blue background that is taken from the blue from the malaysian flag .

STEP 2

Import malaysia map > place it on the right side > change color effect (alpha) 42% >move it slowly to the side keyframe per keyframe at the same time change the alpha to 100% until reach middle of screen

Enlarge it with Free Transform Tool to make it as if it zoomed out of the frame .

STEP 4

using a new keyframe , resize it smaller so that it look as if it is zoomed back in .

STEP 5

Import malaysia flag > place it at the side > change alpha to 0% > select new keyframe and change it to 100% to make the fading effect .

STEP 6

Import figure > create new layer > place figure in front of the flag > apply same alpha setting as previous step .

Use text tool > type out malaysia >apply motion presets (fly in blur left)

STEP 8

Use type tool again > type out word "the">place it at the bottom > select new keyframe > move it up

 STEP 9

type tool > type out LAND >place it beside THE > enlarge it at a new keyframe

STEP 10

type tool > type out WHERE>place it at the bottom>select new keyframe>place it under THE

STEP 11

type tool > type out MY > enlarge it > select new keyframe > resize it smaller>place it under WHERE

STEP 12

type tool > type out blood > change color to red> place it at the bottom left side > select new keyframe > place it beside MY

 add blood splatter effect at the side of the words

STEP 13

type tool > type out IS > place it at the left side > select new keyframe > move it to the right side under MY

STEP 14

type tool > type out spilt> place it beside IS 

STEP 15

Next, select all the type layers and end it except for MALAYSIA > type tool > type out tanah>place it under MALAYSIA

 STEP 16

type tool > type out TUMPAHNYA > place it at the right side of the screen > select new keyframe >place it under TANAH

STEP 17

type tool> type out DARAHKU>place it under TUMPAHNYA

add blood splatter effects with new layer at the sides of DARAHKU

 and the flash video is done!!!

Patriotism Poster

STEPS ON HOW I DID THE PATRIOTIC POSTER

STEP 1

Open Adobe Photoshop > Create New File (A4 size) > Start Drawing the character with a Tablet (Wacom Intuos4) > Start with outline of the character > Then draw them all out one by one > Start filling in the colors and the character is done!

STEP 2

Next , create new layer for the flag to be put behind the character > The flag is also drawn out manually with a tablet > Just like the character , start with an outline > Then start to draw them out one by one and fill em with colors.

STEP 3

Next , create a new layer and start filling out the background with the color of my choice (#9e0b0f) > Again , this is done manually by hand with a tablet . > Create a white outline outside the character and the flag to make them pop out the picture .

Step 4

Next , find an image with the map of Malaysia > Select the magic wand tool (W) and select the background of the image > Right click and Select Inverse > Fill the selected image with the color of my choice (#002b7f)

Next , copy the image that has been done Ctrl+C > Paste it on a new layer at the previous image Ctrl+V

This is to fill up the red background of the initial picture to create a contrast effect with the blue color of the map .

STEP 5

Next , select Type Tool (T) and select the type of my choice (Cafe Nero M54) and write out "MALAYSIA" on top of the picture 

STEP 6

I choose the quote "The land where my blood is spilt" which is taken from the translated version of Negaraku which is the national anthem of Malaysia 

The font used for the quote is Constantia .

and the poster is DONE!
